1. Scope and Focus

Accounting and Auditing Azzukhruf Journal (AAA Journal) publishes scholarly articles focusing on:

  • Financial and Managerial Accounting
  • Auditing and Assurance Services
  • Accounting Information Systems
  • Taxation
  • Islamic Accounting
  • Accounting Ethics and Professionalism
  • Corporate Governance
  • Public Sector Accounting and Finance

2. Manuscript Submission

  • Manuscripts must be submitted online via the Open Journal System (OJS) available on the journal’s website.
  • Authors must register and log in to submit their manuscripts.
  • Submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.

3. Manuscript Preparation

Formatting Requirements:

  • Manuscripts should be written in English using clear and proper language.
  • Submit in Microsoft Word format (.docx) on A4 paper size with 3 cm margins on all sides.
  • Font: Times New Roman, size 12 pt, 1.5 line spacing.
  • Length: 6,000–8,000 words, including abstract, references, tables, and appendices.

Manuscript Structure:

  1. Title
    • Clear and concise, reflecting the content of the paper (maximum 15 words).
  2. Abstract
    • Written in both English  (maximum 250 words).
    • Keywords: 3–5 words.
  3. Introduction
    • Background, research objectives, and contributions.
  4. Literature Review
    • Theoretical framework and relevant prior research.
  5. Research Methods
    • Research design, sample, and data analysis techniques.
  6. Results and Discussion
    • Findings and interpretations presented systematically.
  7. Conclusion
    • Summary of findings and implications.
  8. References
    • Follow the APA Style (7th Edition) format.

4. Citation and Reference Style

  • Authors are required to use reference management tools such as Mendeley or Zotero.
  • At least 80% of references should be recent (published within the last 10 years).

5. Plagiarism Policy

  • Manuscripts are checked for plagiarism using plagiarism detection software.
  • Similarity index must not exceed 20%.
  • Violations may result in rejection or retraction of published articles.

6. Peer Review Process

  • All submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process.
  • Review results will be communicated to the authors within 4–6 weeks.
  • Authors must revise their manuscripts based on reviewers’ feedback before acceptance.

7. Copyright and Licensing

  • Authors retain copyright but grant the journal the right to publish under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license.
  • Authors may share and distribute their work with proper attribution.

8. Publication Fees

  • Article Processing Charges (APC): FREE.
  • Fee waivers are available upon request, subject to approval by the editorial board.
